Ms. Bergia joined the Law Office of Becky Beaver after practicing real estate and business litigation where she gained extensive experience in motion practice and trials before the Court. While Ms. Bergia loves being in the courtroom, she discovered her true passion as an attorney is helping people navigate the stress and emotion of the legal process, leading her to family law. Working closely with Ms. Beaver, Ms. Bergia handles all phases of litigation, working collaboratively with her fellow associates and legal staff.
A West Texas native, Ms. Bergia moved to Austin in 2002 to attend the University of Texas where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Government. She went on to attend the University of Texas School of Law, where she earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence with honors in 2010. After law school, Ms. Bergia served as the staff attorney to Judges Shepperd and Phillips in the Travis County Courts at Law Nos. 1 and 2 before joining a private litigation practice in 2013.
Ms. Bergia enjoys hiking and swimming on the Greenbelt and taking advantage of the many outdoor activities in the Austin area. She also enjoys showing off her creative side with sewing and crochet projects. She is conversationally proficient in Spanish.
