Alzheimer’s Texas Hidden Heroes: The Gift of Caregiving Luncheon

Becky Beaver, a prominent Austin attorney and caregiver to her husband with Alzheimer’s, received the 2017 Outstanding Caregiver of the Year Award.
The Gift of Caregiving Luncheon honors caregivers for those suffering from debilitating dementia. Alzheimer’s Texas recognizes caregivers and highlights the amazing gift they give not only to their care partners but to their community. Additionally, Alzheimer’s Texas awarded grant funds to 10 caregivers from the community. These special caregivers were acknowledged for their unwavering dedication to providing meaningful care.
